Position Overview

Gallopade is seeking a seasonal Warehouse Associate for the next 45 days (or longer) at our headquarters in Peachtree City, GA. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for pulling, scanning, and packing orders for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ship orders in a timely and orderly fashion in a warehouse environment

• Pull, accurately count, and package products for shipment

• Inspect products and packaging for damage

• Package, palletize, and bundle products for shipment using means appropriate for the method of transportation

• Accurately receive and record inbound freight shipments

• Maintain records of shipping, receiving, and warehouse inventory

• Keep warehouse organized and other tasks as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient with all sorts of material handling and packaging devices, including stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks

• Ability to lift 40 pounds and load

• Ability to work 40 hours and some overtime

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Packing accuracy must be at or exceed an acceptable level

• High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization

• Must be adaptable to change in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands, and be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner

• Some computer experience/typing skills

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior forklift experience

• No warehouse experience required
